Well, 2008 has been out for 4 months now, work is probably well under way for the 2009 roster update, sorry, new game.

The following details are from JR's Blog and someone from THQ respectively:

- Thursday night I began work on the next THQ video game with voicing over about 200 lines of copy. The new game’s concept, which I have been sworn to secrecy, has already aroused my curiosity and is scheduled for release in the fall of ‘08 - Jim Ross.

- THQ is touting that this year's version of Smackdown vs Raw will feature it's largest roster ever ad what they are calling "a groundbreaking new feature".

It looks good, and hopefully it will be DLC, and then it will make it better for it to have updates. Plus the Create-A-Finisher looks pretty fun.
